Sime Darby Auto Selection EV Warranty

Age of vehicle from the year of make which are not more than 8 years from manufacturing year, odometer mileage reading shall not exceed 160,000km at the time of activation of this warranty.

Warranty period is activated from the registration date for 1 year or 25,000 kms (whichever comes first basis based on date & mileage recorded on the booklet) Pre purchase inspection car for all model is required (by sime darby auto selection).

There is a 7 day & 500kms cooling-off period from the coverage starting date & mileage, claims only can be made after this period.

There is a RM15,000 limit per claim, on total aggregate up to RM100,000.

There are four important notes regarding the RM15,000 limit:

1. RM15,000 is a maximum limit, there is no minimum amount to proceed for claim
2. No processing fee or excess charge for filing a claim report
3. Until RM100,000 on total aggregate is fulfilled, any item that has been claimed beforehand can be claimed again as long as proven faulty
4. Upon approval of claims, covered parts & labour, an official approval letter will be issued to the respective workshops therefore customers will not be required to make payment for approved items. Excluded items are wear & tear items, normal service items, eg : oil seal, brake fluid, steering fluid, brake pads

Customers are required to perform routine service of their vehicles at any DriveCare workshop only.

Minimum of 15,000km or 12 months whichever come first. Please reach out to GMR or DriveCare for routine servicing, recommendations will be provided dedicated to EV brand and model.

• this policy does not cover any loss, damage liability or costs directly or indirectly related to or caused by or arising out of in consequence of damage by fire, theft, burglary, accident, neglect, misuse or abuse, among other criteria. For the full exclusion list please refer to the GMR booklet or get in touch with our customer service for more info.
• not accepted for damage caused by water or gas entry, water or gas leaking, modification, noise, overheated, melted, crack.
• not include for lubricant oil, oil ring, seal, cable, gasket, screw, bearing, programming, fuse, relay, sealant, lamp bulb, wiper blade, belting, chains, thermostat, filters, hoses, wiring harness.
• normal wear and tear such damage resulting from the normal aging and deterioration of parts, including the natural reduction.
