ELIGIBILITY
Age of vehicle from the year of make which are not more than 8 years from manufacturing year, odometer mileage reading shall not exceed 175,000km at the time of activation of this warranty.
WARRANTY PERIOD
Warranty period is activated from the registration date for 1 year or 25,000 kms (whichever comes first basis based on date & mileage recorded on the booklet). There is a 7 day & 500kms cooling-off period from the coverage starting
date & mileage, claims only can be made after this period.
COVERAGE LIMIT
There is a RM5,000 limit per claim, on total aggregate up to RM15,000.
There are four important notes regarding the RM5,000 limit:
- RM5,000 is a maximum limit, there is no minimum amount to proceed for claim
- No processing fee or excess charge for filing a claim report
- Until RM15,000 on total aggregate is fulfilled, any item that has been claimed beforehand can be claimed again as long as proven faulty
- Upon approval of claims, covered parts & labour, an official approval letter will be issued to the respective workshops therefore customers will not be required to make payment for approved items. Excluded items are wear & tear items, normal service items, eg : engine oil, oil filter, oil seal, brake fluid, steering fluid, brake pads
SERVICE MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENT
Customers are required to perform routine service of their vehicles at any GMR’s panel workshops only.
- Fully Synthetic Oil – Every 10,000kms or 6 months whichever occurs first
- Semi Synthetic Oil – Every 7,000kms or 4 months whichever occurs first
Whichever comes first at authorized service and repair centers to maintain the validity of the warranty, with an allowance of 500km service mileage or 10 days over the limit. For the updated list of workshops, please please click here.
